Pure Hinoki Essential Oil (Chamaecyparis obtusa)  100% Natural Therapeutic Grade Steam Distilled:

Hinoki Essential Oil is uplifting, cleansing, comforting and it promotes calmness and relaxation. It clears up respiratory congestion and eases phlegm build up when inhaled. It is a gentle antiseptic. In skincare it can be added to heal blemished skin. Hinoki is considered an engendered plant. It is also useful in skincare and cosmetics for its ability to kill bacteria, treat sores, pimples, pustules and skin eruptions.

Hinoki Oil is obtained from the leaves of hinoki tree (botanical name: Chamaecyparisobtusa) through steam distillation. Hinoki is a conifer native to central and southern Japan. It's also known as the Japanese cypress, which is why Hinoki Oil is sometimes referred to as Japanese Cypress Oil and Hinoki Cypress Oil.

Hinoki Essential oil is said to promote stress relief and relaxation, and it's a popular remedy for calming anxiety and insomnia. This sedative effect combined with the oil's earthy scent can mimic the experience of visiting a luxury bathhouse in Japan, which is why hinokioil is often infused in Japanese bath products.
